This week was fast fast fast. After our visitors left we found that we had soccer, vet appointments and play dates. This was very helpful in distracting tactics. This up morning week we are preparing to go 'home' so the kids can spend some time with both sets of grandparents.
Hearing from the hubs has been slim this week. I am still awed at how often I get to speak with him. People take technology and their privileges for granite. Speaking to a spouse when they are deployed is a privilege. Some don't understand that. It is a sad truth, but one that happens. I'm happy I get to talk to mine when I do. It hurts when some smear it in others faces.
The next week should be interesting. I am nervous about how to handle the kids being gone. It will be the first time they are away from me for that long. We hall see how it goes. Until next!
